Fall '24 Women & Gender Equity in Leadership Summit
Join us on Friday, October 25th from 9:30am – 4:00pm in St. Cajetans for the Women & Gender Equity in Leadership Summit with an array of dialogic sessions and skill-based workshops that aim to empower, advocate, and develop a more just understanding of inequities that affect women and gender-expansive individuals. The theme, “Together We Heal: Community Care through Art, Activism & History,” which encompasses art, historic rights movements, iconic LGBTQ+ bands, and LGBTQ Fashion.

All Queer and/or Transgender Students of Color at Auraria, please join the the LGBTQ Student Resource Center and the C2Hub for a career-centered QTPOC experience. We will be hosting our
QTPOC: Real Talk – Navigating Authentic Professionalism on Thursday, November 14th from 1:00p – 3:00p in Tivoli Student Union, 440 – Adirondacks. Don’t miss your chance to be in community and explore how our QTPOC identity relates to how we navigate workplace environments!
There will be opportunities for free professional headshots and food will be provided!
Transgender Day of Remembrance Soiree
The LGBTQ Student Resource Center, The Gender Institute for Teaching and Advocacy, the Phoenix Center at Auraria, and the Women & Gender Student Services present you our Transgender Day of Remembrance Soiree on Thursday, November 20th from 2:00p – 4:00p in the Tivoli Student Union, 440 – Adirondacks.
*All Transgender/Gender Expansive/ENBY Students are invited to honor, celebrate, and promote the well-being of Trans/GE/ENBY community at our Soiree. Food and drink will be provided.

Fall '24 Lavender Graduation
The LGBTQ Student Resource Center invites all LGBTQ+ identified CCD, MSU, and CU-Denver Fall graduates to our Lavender Graduation ceremony. We will be hosting our Fall ’24 Lavender Graduation on Tuesday, December 3rd from 5:00p – 7:00p in the Tivoli Student Union, 320ABC – Baerresen Ballroom. Graduates who attend the ceremony will receive a stole and certificate, as well as dinner with your chosen loved ones. Graduates who cannot attend have the option to pick up their stole from the center. Please consider nominating a student, staff/faculty, or campus organization for our Lavender Advocate awards and complete our RSVP/Pick-Up form to learn more.
